Winning before I try to fall asleep. Likewise, winning before bedtime. Only night this week without a meeting or other obligation. @Bernie: IIRC (it's been 40+ years), it's called the "skin effect". Low frequencies travel near the center of the wire, higher frequencies travel towards the outer edge. When a change in wire direction occurs, especially a 90-degree (right-angle) bend, signals traveling near the surface of the wire can interfere with each other due to the short bend radius. Posting and not from Neverland... I'm still waiting for Time Warner to get their act together so that I can get online with them, so far no ip address and I think they still think My Mac address has three 8's in the number and not just two 8's, but I'll know more after 9:45am on Tuesday. A post for the morning.... The Kite Fliers -------------------- Kite fliers: An imaginary club of solo members, those who don't yet belong to a formal team so "fly their own kites" - as the saying goes. |

Winning, because it's Sunda lunch time and beer'O'clock with port and single malt included ... It is a sunny, windless warm day here (all relative), and I hope Weston sees similar weather, it all helps the healing. So, let 2013 banish the hard memories of the last 18 months. Like you, I am hopeful the final treatment for me will lead to 2013 being the year when my last 10 month journey becomes a return to normality. A sunny good morning win from here, as I dice with sticking my new Mr Baldyman in to the elements and freeze the back of my head in an unaccustomed .... It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

Posting while in pain, that means I'd laid on the mattress as long as I could tolerate. Don't worry Andy, It's just a Queen sized bed that is really stiff, I should have gone by My 1st choice, but I was thinking long term, considering My weight and all. So I get between 5 and 6.5 hours of sleep on the bed, if I get more I can wake up with pain and a stiff back. And this is My 1st post on TWC and not on DSL...
