Winning at work for not eating the blueberry fiber bar that's sitting on my desk, just in case my blood sugar crashes. Lunch will be an hour later than normal (11:30 instead of 10:30).

Winning after work, as usual.
End of this season's assignment in sight.
Lay-offs on Friday, down to 1 shift on Monday.
Expect to be mostly done by 17 Feb, techs (me) work 1 week after.
Then back to semi-retired status until October.
YaaaaaY!

Two years ago it was -55C one morning, the car started with 5W-30 oil; it was plugged in to the outside plug in. (115 volts.) The car will start without the plug-in down to -30C.

Yesterday I upped the overclock on the PC from 2.84GHz to 3.51GHz, I'd swore I'd aimed at 3.68GHz, but something didn't quite go as planned.... But the i5 750 cpu temps while doing 3 wu's at one time seem to holding around the mid 40's so far thanks to the Corsair H70 cpu water cooler. Soon enough I'll push the 16GB of G.Skill DDR3 1333 ram some more to about 1500MHz and try for 4.00GHz!

Our cars don't have plug in options. We really aren't geared up for weather below about -10C. Our infrastructure just isn't designed for it. The temps some areas are seeing at the moment will halt our trains, close our schools, burst our water mains and generally cause chaos. Friday the word of the day will be "snowmageddon" as a country wide fall is expected and many areas, mine included, have no snow clearing equipment.
