Shocking... I just had the TWC cable guy leave, after doing some work, won't have an ip address for 24 hours, I hope. Seems someone entered the wrong code and so My modem was left searching for a connection, until then I wait. He also said the right angle RG6 connector could kill a connection, why I'm not sure, it's there to keep the coax cable from being hit by the desk which is on wheels.

I work with a stick, kinda easy although very expensive. 52 euro a month for 5Gb.
But where I live now I can't have any wifi...

My previous job was to do with providing TV/Data over co-ax, we found that the right angled connections performed badly and actually had a project to replace all the original 15,000. One of my techs used to have a theory as to why. Something to do with the way a signal travels in co-ax, i.e. on the outside of the cable rather than "in it". Never was big on RF.

Well if needed I could remove it, space is a consideration and not just the final frontear, the 12' cable is RG6 Quad Shielded, made by Phillips.

Also I just canceled My DSL account as of 01/21/2013, why that date? My Contract expires on the 20th, I'd rather avoid any ETF fees.

DSL $37.83 3M/768K
TWC $19.99 3M/1M...
