I just took a peek at the SSP. Isn't 1,764 kinda high for Master database queries/second? Right after the outage it was sitting at about 1,500 for a couple of hours, several times it went over 2k & held it for a while. Apart from a couple of recent peaks it's been pretty good, well below 700 most of the time. As for getting work, where it was taking 20-30 requests to get any, it's now down to 5-10 requests untill i manage to get some. ____________ Grant Darwin NT.

And in less than 24 hours the whole shebang will go offline for 3 days to get the electric looked at again. So expect another several days after everything is restored for the queues to get refilled/topped off until the next planned outage about two weeks after this one.

Greetings, Greetings, Things are back to 'normal', at least until they cut power to the project today. I should have enough WUs to cover the outage. [off-topic] It has been so many years and the older I get the worse my memory. Can't believe I'll be 61 this month. Never thought I would see 2000 let alone 2013. Anyway, if memory serves correctly, I do believe you are Tom from Hawaii right? It's good to see an 'old familiar face'. :) I hope your Christmas was a merry one and that the New Year is happy and prosperous for you. :) [/off-topic] It's good to see that this was happening globally and not just to my client. ;) Keep on BOINCing...! :) ____________ CMDR Siran d'Vel'nahr XO USS Vre'kasht NCC-33187 Siran's website: [ ONLINE! ]

UPDATE: the outage scheduled for the weekend of the 4th-6th has been cancelled so normal operations shall continue. We still plan to have our air conditioner repaired and will be completely off line from January 14th to January 15th during that time. .. just for info. ;-) * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * ____________ >Das Deutsche Cafe. Yes, I see I have stated to get some, hopefully it will continue, cache was set to 1 day, although I did lower to 0.5 day to see if that helped.

Yes, I see I have stated to get some, hopefully it will continue, cache was set to 1 day, although I did lower to 0.5 day to see if that helped. There are two cache settings, for Boinc 7 you should set the first one to a higher number, and the second to a lower number, ie 1 + 0.01 (Boinc 7 will wait for the amount of work cached to fall below the 1 setting before asking again, if you put a higher number in the second setting and a low number in the 1st, Boinc 7 will wait until it's almost empty before asking again) Claggy

the number for the second cache is currently 0

With the way the cricket graph is slowly building i wonder if some thing is being used to further track down our gremlins and see where the break point is from a different angle.

With the way the cricket graph is slowly building i wonder if some thing is being used to further track down our gremlins and see where the break point is from a different angle. My impression is that they are throttling the feeder, and may be slowly releasing the throttle. Either that or the way things are working the proportion of APs being sent out is increasing for <waves hands> some reason </w>. ____________

Now that it seems that the feeder is back up to speed hopefully the backlog of unsent work over the last few days will clear up soon as well.
