I'm really sad to hear this. I loved Andersons and his wifes work. Both undertook many speaking parts in all the series. To this day I still think that the concept of Thunderbiird 2 as a universal pod carrier, beats the hell out Hercules transport aircraft, but there you go.

Although he never would give away what FAB stood for!

Yeah I really liked that series when I was 7 or 8 or whatever age I was back then.

The Thunderbirds wiki has something to say about FAB:
The Thunderbirds' radio code "F-A-B", meaning "message received and understood", did not stand for anything, it was just supposed to sound "hip". In fact, when asked what it stood for, Gerry Anderson once replied, with some bemusement, "Fab", as though it were obvious. Later, due in part to fan-submitted stories, F-A-B came to mean Fully Advised and Briefed, in keeping with P-W-O-R (Proceeding With Orders Received), a similar radio confirmation code in the Stingray series.
