I was perusing the EVGA website looking at drivers, since it's been a while and I'd see what was new and exciting. I run XP64 on most of my rigs, and thought I heard there was a new driver out. Well, I looked at XP, didn't see anything real recent, then thought I'd check Win7. Here is what I found:

Release Date Type Version OS
12-17-2012 Driver 310.70 Windows 7 64bit
11-26-2012 Driver 310.61 Windows 7 64bit

and

11-26-2012 Driver 310.61 Windows XP 64bit

I suppose I knew that this day would eventually come, but it appears to be the end of the road for XP and updated drivers. Has anyone heard if this is it. or do they just need to do a little more tweaking to get it right before they post it for download?

I never installed graphic card manufacturer drivers. Only drivers from the officially NVIDIA homepage.

Have a look there, I found all 6xx series GPU drivers, except for GTX690 - for WinXP 32/64 bit.

GeForce 310.70 Driver WHQL Dec/17 2012 (e.g. for your GTX670).

I agree, I always use the Nvidia drivers. I am on the mailing list so get an email when new drivers are released.

Duh, didn't even think to go there. Sorry for the false alarm, I should have done more research before posting. Thanks for the heads up!

Whew....ya had me going there.
One of my ambitions for today was to start upgrading the kitties' crunching farm to 310.70.
2 XP 64bit, 6 XP 32bit, and 7 on my daily driver.
I always download drivers directly from nVidia's own site too, but had not looked there yet.
