Firearms. Who or what is dangerous?

I do not know where people get this notion that the nazi's closed christian schools ar had their symbols removed.

Those people seceretly admire the tactics but don't want to be seen as espousing the same ideal so they repeat a lie until it becomes truth, but that is the key to building a religion; the repetition of lies until they are believed to be truths.

They in fact closed secular schools, because of their belief that secular schools could not teach morals.

In fact, there is no possible way to restrict access to guns in the United States. You might restrict "new" gun acquisition but there are 300 million firearms already out there.

It will be interesting to see what will be put out there for possible new legislation; but it will not change the likely-hood of another tragic event. I suspect there will be something done on background checks and 30-round magazines and possibly a renewal of being able to legally buy fully automatic military weapons for private citizen's use. In fact most weapons out there are semi-automatic as were the one's used in recent events. They will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger--reloading with a new magazine or clip takes only a very few seconds.

Private transactions cannot be enforced and criminals, crazies and terrorists aren't likely to follow procedures to begin with.

We all might prefer an environment where there are no firearms needed, however, the cat is out of the bag.

The discussion should be on how do we protect ourselves and our children in public places from the insanity of those few people in our society. Perhaps there is no sure solution to this other than becoming an Israeli-style armed camp.

Why do these mass shootings always happen in "gun free" zones?

Because gun-free zones are generally areas where there will be lots of potential victims so you get a bigger splash on the news.

ES you are ignoring American exceptionalism. There are people in this country who believe that we don't have to behave the way the rest of mankind does.

It was only a short 236 years ago we broke the bonds of tyranny. What short memories we have. I keep pointing out history and most of you in here keep hand waving. Several other examples since then. Yet you keep on hand waving.
