I do not know where people get this notion that the nazi's closed christian schools ar had their symbols removed. You continue To Be Der Mensch. Right Side of the Continuum Nature. You have Improved It. You stand Above the Worm. I Cannot draw, otherwise I'd paint Your Picture (or a Raccoon) ... with Parted Hair, of course. PROFessor S. Say: Smart Posts from Others besides Gary? Stop deadly high-speed chases! Ban all gas tanks over 5 gallons!

In fact, there is no possible way to restrict access to guns in the United States. You might restrict "new" gun acquisition but there are 300 million firearms already out there.

Why do these mass shootings always happen in "gun free" zones?

Why do these mass shootings always happen in "gun free" zones? Because the owners of semi-auto assault weapons are in fact cowards.

Why do these mass shootings always happen in "gun free" zones? No the said perps are infact cowards. ____________

Because gun-free zones are generally areas where there will be lots of potential victims so you get a bigger splash on the news.

Because gun-free zones are generally areas where there will be lots of potential victims so you get a bigger splash on the news. That has been suggested before. The killers want to live in infamy. But, wait! They usually commit suicide. So, they just want their name(s) remembered long after their deaths. To that, I respond, what proof do we have that, for example, Klebold and Harris thought this way. Who did they tell this to? Did they post it somewhere on the interwebs? Was it written in their journals? Provide me evidence that they were looking for infamy, and not just looking to get their jollies as much as they could as they shot so many rounds and killed so many people.

So what evidence suggests making the entire U.S. a gun free zone will reduce these mass killings?

So what evidence suggests making the entire U.S. a gun free zone will reduce these mass killings? When I am the person making such a claim, I'll provide the backing. If I cannot provide the backing, I won't make the claim. See how that works? In the meantime, answer the REASONABLE question I posed (as it is claim some have made), or talk about something else, instead of trying to derail. P.S.-how's the non-hyperbolic posting working, like 5 gallon tanks, eh?

So what evidence suggests making the entire U.S. a gun free zone will reduce these mass killings? The fact that is has worked in every other country that has done it. ____________ In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams

ES you are ignoring American exceptionalism. There are people in this country who believe that we don't have to behave the way the rest of mankind does.

So what evidence suggests making the entire U.S. a gun free zone will reduce these mass killings? Ya mean like Mao Ze-Dong's China, Adolf Hitler's Germany, Joseph Stalin's USSR, Pol Pot's Cambodia and Kim Il Sung's North Korea?

So what evidence suggests making the entire U.S. a gun free zone will reduce these mass killings? *sigh* It's also illegal to expose yourself in public in all those countries...murder is illegal there...stealing, I'm pretty sure stealing is illegal there too...oh they also breathe in those countries. Are you breathing Guy? If you are, YOU ARE JUST LIKE STALIN, BECAUSE BEFORE HE DIED, HE WAS BREATHING!!! Anyway, the real world outside your head has lots of other countries in them that are considered very civilised and excellent places to live. Australia for example, not known for it's Nazis, not known for mass shootings either. ____________ In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams

Ya know, it's kind of difficult to have a civilized conversation with you when you refuse to acknowledge more than four percent of the facts.

Have you taken a look at what's happened in Australia since they banned guns? Since Australia introduced gun controls in 1996, after a mass killing, there hasn't been a similar incident since. And the reports by the NRA using false data, the Australian Attorney General has asked the NRA toremove allreferences to Australia from it's reports and site.

Ya know, it's kind of difficult to have a civilized conversation with you when you refuse to acknowledge more than four percent of the facts. It's also hard when you conveniently overlooked that it wasn't Hitler or the Nazis that banned guns in Germany, it was the Weimar Republic. I pointed that out 1-2 days ago. A former S@H cruncher, conservative, whom I am connected to elsewhere (as are some of the other posters here, people more liberal than I am independent), conceded this point. Your response should either have been concession as well, or educating me on how I was wrong. Alas, that was not to be. Instead, you repeated it: Ya mean like Mao Ze-Dong's China, Adolf Hitler's Germany, Joseph Stalin's USSR, Pol Pot's Cambodia and Kim Il Sung's North Korea? If you want civil conversation, be civil. When you claim something, and some believes they've disproved it (in this me, and I can look up the links again), then follow it up! If you find the counterclaim is correct, drop it (or even admit it "out loud".) Don't repeat your original, wrong, claim! If the counterclaimer is wrong, prove it to them. You, nor the "memes" posted here or on social networking sites, have not proven Hitler banned guns. I have seen much evidence brought against this claim. I have seen evidence brought against some of the other, similar, claims as well (though some of that may just be the dates someone was in power). If this can't be done, well, I'll quote some Metallica & Styx for ya, and I think we know how the rest of your posting career here at S@H is going to work out. Metallica: My Friend of Misery You just stood there screaming Styx: Cold War Ya talk, talk,

Free men have guns. Slaves don't. I'm a free man and intend to keep it that way.
