Winning on the 47th Birthday of the 70mph speed limit in the UK

Winning on the 48th anniversary of – The first test flight of the SR-71 (Blackbird) that took place at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, California.

That plane was just untouchable by any missile made, all it needed to do was open the throttle, bye bye missile...

Considering the capabilities of the SR-71 and the advances made in the last 48 years, I wonder what they are using today?

The X-47B orbiter, among other things....

Winning on a cool, wet Saturday. 46F, intermittent rain.
Going for Saturday Morning Cup of Jazz (first one in 6 weeks), then to my sister's house for an early Christmas dinner.

One day penguins will learn to fly. Then we'll be in trouble.

It's the polar bears that worry me ....

They do tend to get a bit tetchy without their regular "sugary drink".

He tasks me. He tasks me and I shall have him! I'll chase him 'round the moons of Nibia and 'round the Antares Maelstrom and 'round Perdition's flames before I give him up!
