Gentlemen, please calm down. In the spirit of Christmas there is no need for this.

I am very calm.
These days I rarely get my dander up much.

I just go about explaining my view of the world and others can accept it or not.

I only responded when one addressed me personally and called me down for telling the truth.

Geez, I had not said anything at all about how despondent I wuz when I rolled my '64 Olds F-85.

But above all I think we ALL need to hold our elected officials accountable. And vote them out when they are not responsive.

My vote was not bought and sold. I am not sure about the dubya tax rebates being another story.. or his support from Diebold.

Money will however get you air time on slanted news channels. And not just during the commercials.

soft one.......
I don't know what your vote was, and I don't wish to know.
I do believe that most on these forums were wise enough to make what I consider the correct choice.
That's my opinion, not necessarily supported by the UCB or anybody else.

If you truly voted your conscience, I grant you that, no matter what it was.

The problem was.....
There were too many ***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************.

I had to self delete.....because the truth would hurt too many.

What I find strange about certain people's hatred of Obama, is that he's not a particularly radical president. His policies are fairly right wing. From what I can see he's actually right of Reagan. So what is it about him that inspires so much hatred and vitriol from certain members of the American populace?

Its very odd when you actually look at what he has done and what he stands for.

What is it do you think that makes some ignorant people hate him with such a rabid passion?

One of these men is not like the others.

I can't possibly imagine what it is that inspires such irrational hatred. What on earth could it all be about?

Its such a mystery...

It's not a mystery, ES.

He is an arrogant bas***d who defines his presidency by his defiance of the constitution of this nation and of much of the citizenry he was sworn to represent.

There is no mystery here.

Who told you this, Mark? Where are you getting your information?

The Bill of Rights is the collective name for the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. These limitations serve to protect the natural rights of liberty and property. They guarantee a number of personal freedoms, limit the government's power in judicial and other proceedings, and reserve some powers to the states and the public. While originally the amendments applied only to the federal government, most of their provisions have since been held to apply to the states by way of the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights.

In 2008 and 2010, the Supreme Court issued two landmark decisions concerning the Second Amendment. In District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U.S. 570 (2008), the Court ruled that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess a firearm, unconnected to service in a militia and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home.

Does not square up...

That has been my point throughout.
The main point of having an armed public. Not to protect from without, but from evil within.
I am not sure I got that point across without being called a nutter.

Given this country's roots, it's no small wonder that our forefathers wanted to make sure we had the basic right to self defense against all evils. Not just from outside our borders, but from within them as well.

And voicing this safety check, I am a conspiericist?[sp] No, my friends. I am just a realist. And given the divide in the last election, I don't think that voicing such an opinion should be seen as being alarmist. I really don't.

It is my God given opinion that the possibility of an armed insurrection against our government IS possible in the next few years.
I am not trying to incite such. I just know that there are enough REALLY pissed off people in this country that I can see it happening.
Let Obummer raise taxes just one more notch and see what happens.
Republicans are not only right when they fear raising taxes on the rich, they are fearful for their lives.

Think Kent State, or something like it. But much worse because of their house of cards (money matters) falls. It would be THEIR fault and they should be held for trial.

This is reason and this would be the start. I know you don't want to see it, neither do I. But once the fight starts---I have taken an Oath, it has no expiration date. Guy is right, but not fully correct. It will get out of hand and quickly so. But in the end, no missiles, no tanks and they will step to one side for the march on Washington. Will be a fight there also, but they will not be able to stop the onslaught, run is all they will be able to do. They cannot hide.

They can avoid it. Follow the rule of law....

What would be the chance of them following the law?

About the same chance of a snowball with Obama.

I support the right of an armed populace having the right to defend themselves against Obama's dictatorship.

He is nothing short of Hitler........
You best all re-read your history documents. This is EXACTLY, to a word, how his overtake started. TO A WORD. You had better get a grip on this folks........before it is too late.

You can't convey to the sheople how a cruel dictator rises to power.

The survivors of the Nazi holocaust are no longer around. That look in their eyes, the coping mechanism used to deal with such evil, the signs that were broadcast which weren't taken for the reality of what was to come, the guilt of not doing something when something *could* have been done, the lack of words available to describe the horror...

It's human nature. It's cyclic.

Trust your government. Go back to sleep. One of these days as you gaze in horror as the piles of bodies are thrown in big holes in the ground...

One of those bodies will be mine.

One person who actually understands what I have been trying to express about Obama.

I will NOT be one of those thrown into the gas chambers.
You think me alarmist.......but once the furnaces start up, it's too late for wondering what HE was up to.

Not true, My ex next door neighbour, with ID tatooed on wrist, is still alive at 84, now lives with her daughter about 30 mile away. Have received Xmas card again this year.

And my Uncle is still alive, he was one of the Canadian troops who entered Bergen-Belsen in April 1945. His units veterans association is still in touch with some of those survivors who ended up in Canada.

I am not 'out of my mind'.

Fine, you don't want to listen to what I have to say.

That's OK with me....
Only tyrants insist that others listen to their rants. At least you have the option to read or not read what I post.

I posture and give you my take on my world, and if that don't suit ya........
Fine. Call me names then. I have been called far worse by many better than yourself. LOL, gurl.

I can handle it.
