We got a little bit of a break. Great thing is that the temp is nearing 40°F so everything we've accumulated over the last week is starting to disappear! However, we're due for a weeklong hammering.

Giorgio has called on the aliens to make it snow over your area. He will then mop it up with his hair.

It has to warm up here before it can snow. Go figure.

We still have snow on the ground from a week ago. At least I've managed to dig my car out now from when the snow plow went down the street and buried it.

Of course you do realize that -40C is also ironically -40F...

The last storm went by us to the north. The next one is supposed to go by to the south. Fine with me. Although it doesn't give me a chance to use my 4 wheel drive.

Or even the Army's 6 wheel drive for that matter.

Here it's 47F(8C) and partly cloudy, 20% chance of rain tonight, increasing to 30% on Wednesday the 26th, still no snow. I think this is rapidly becoming the new weather thread.

It seems that Marit Bjorken of Norway is not going to compete in the Tour de Ski because of a cardiac problem. My best wishes to her.

Still no major snow (the storm today/tomorrow goes south again), but today is supposed to be the last day of our new record number of consecutive days with a high of at least 32. Forecast high for tomorrow is 22.

[edit] That's 0C and something like -5 or -6C for those of you in the rest of the world.
