Console version and see boinc in and output

Hi everybody! I'm new in the seti@home project. I'm a little bit curious about the input and output data used by BOINC. Is this possible to see them?

After that, is this possible to have a console version? I'm running under ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

When you start the client, that is 'a console version'.
Just do ./run-client in a terminal window in the home/boinc directory. That shows the output of the client in the terminal window.
When you do ./run-client --daemon, it'll start the client as a daemon without output to any terminal window. To see the messages then, you'll need to run BOINC Manager with ./run-manager

Output is in the Event Log, at CTRL+SHIFT+E or through the Advanced menu in Advanced view.

Thanks, but I can't find run-client and run-manager. I installed boinc with the command:
sudo apt-get install boinc-client boinc-manager

The event log is ... the log :P What I would like to know is if it's possible the see the real output data (what my computer has calculed).

And for the raw input data?
