This is about some of the most ridiculous dunnage I've read in quite a long time. http://www.campusreform.org/blog/?ID=4534

Unfortunately, this is NOT unique to Berkeley. I've read of similar actions taken by College and University Student Governments. What almost always happens is that the resolution is non-binding, the Administration points out that implimenting such a ban would be the same sort of illegal discrimination based on religion that the Resolution decries, and when the dust settles, the author returns to his personal blog to bad-mouth all those he doesn't like, and life goes on as before...

One side says they discriminate, one side says no they don't, Berkeley gets in the middle of a no win situation and maybe a bit of miscommunication too, maybe...

Anyone at the campus have any insight as to what this is really all about? First you must remember this is Beserkeley. When you realize this you get hair-brain ideas such as this. An ordinance that decrys the lack of tolerance by refusing to be tolerant itself. Self contradictions such as this are the product of unchecked liberalism with must herd mentality. ____________
