	i'm getting decidedly cranky. i STILL can't edit my profile, after originally discovering the problem several months ago... just so we're clear, i DID have an image uploaded and displaying next to my post. then one day when i looked it was gone - don't know when it happened or why. reason given to me as to why i could not edit my profile was because my RAC had fallen below 1. well, it's above 1 now. my original image (which i wish to change) shows up on my profile page, but when i attempt to change it i am ignored. i receive no error message, nor any message at all. i am asked to enter my secret woids, and then...nuthin. so what gives? i'm tired of still looking like a complete newbie... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS! THANKS LENETTE ____________ Intelligence is not necessarily an evolutionary advantage

	just so we're clear, i DID have an image uploaded and displaying next to my post. 1) If you don't see the new image in your profile - hit F5 (try also Ctrl+F5 Shift+F5 Alt+F5 ) 2) The image "displaying next to my post" is NOT set in the profile, it is set as "Avatar" here (Community preferences): http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/edit_forum_preferences_form.php ____________ - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)

	thanks! got it. ps: i think it's just a little bit creepy that hilary knows so much about me, if only because it means that more nefarious entities (like, say, american crossroads) does too. not that i'm privy to any useful intelligence, but i'll bet some people around here are.. ____________ Intelligence is not necessarily an evolutionary advantage
