Just a thought considering the server problems we are having is to stop new members for a small amount of time.
I can imagine the up roar about it but it would seem to me that for a short amount of time that would help with the server problems

I have also noticed a huge amount of people have dropped out from my team.
The Assimilators used to have 46 active members and now it is 26 active

Thats almost half so if the other teams are having the same thing happen then our members have already dropped by half.

I hope all this mess can get sorted out soon.

The average of 285 new user a day is very small in comparison to the ~160,000 average active users. Really what you would want to do is disable new host creation. Now that it would matter much either.

Gee what a warm welcome that would be. Sorry Hal but that is plain rude.

The fact is some people stop crunching, and some start. Lots of us are waiting in the wings to come back and help. Yes we realize that will put a strain on those servers we helped provide, and the link that we did not provide and we are sensitive to not adding undo strain to it. We are coming back (lots of us).

And in the mean time Hal, you are welcome.

It would seem I should have included the <sarcasm></sarcasm> tags in my message.
