There was another file as well.
amdocl.dll that had to be manually removed.

Running Beta again.

Here's the ticket at AMD for those interested in the issue; Problems with Cat 12.10 and up and HD7xxx (and not only) GPUs . Here's the same concept on the other platform, Faster GPUs with Nvidia 310.70? . Seems to be a valid concept on the other platform.
