I have two separate accounts, one on my notebook, one on my desktop....how can I combine/merge them into one?

You can't. You'll have to abandon one of them (preferably the one with the lesser credits) and add (attach) all your computers to the other account.

Once upon a time, people were using the "merge accounts" feature to steal credits. Now that feature has been removed. You can thank a few bad apples for removing that feature.
