Any way to tell if you "have" something?

Watching this data for a while, I notice some patterns here and there, but is there any real way to tell if you've found something interesting just by looking at the graphical displays?

For instance, in this screen capture? Anything specific those 3 green bars mean?

Contact implies a two way communication...

The first thing is detecting a signal. The big radio telescopes collect data, mountains of it. S@H has selected a narrow segment of that mountain range to study, in depth, and over the years, but there are still mountains of data to look through. We filter out the bulk of the rubbish to leave the most interesting data, and there's still a mountain left. This mountain of data is then sifted, collated and compared to locate the proverbial needle in a haystack. We are looking for a signal that doesn't originate on Earth, is persistent, and is in the frequency band we are studying.

We will probably be unable to de-code that signal as its probably been distorted too much over its years in passage, and its probably much the same as the H-gap signal that earth has been transmitting for about a hundred years (the sum of all the H-gap harmonics of all the radio transmissions) - Now to be an alien looking at us from about a hundred years ago when Marconi first hit the key, and follow the growth in our H-gap signature for say 75 years, until he could say "Those boys are actually transmitting big time"....
