We also know it in the form of spice. But it can also be freshly eaten.

Grant,

1. right click on the picture you want to use
2. select "view image info"
3. right click on the location which is highlighted in blue, and copy (may need to do this twice)
4. go to message, right click, and paste
5. highlight picture link you just pasted, and click on img tab
6. this will put [img] at the beginning and [/img] at the end
7. use preview to check result before posting

There may be easier ways, but this is simple. Take care not to post any copyrighted pics.

Okay I got the picture I wanted, Never got and option image info ( either right or left button), Copy works but paste no! Img just gives me a red underline. this thing is driving me nuts. I have tried so hard to go by the numbers and I'm going no wheres. Maybe windows is missing something here, I have Seven and up to now it has been fine.

Try an image hosting site, like Photobucket. You can upload your picture to the site and then use the url they give you to put between the BBCode tags.

It should look like this. For it to work it must be the image website address.

Julie's right, you should give Photobucket a shot:)

If you follow Chris' advice then for steps 2 and 3 (in Windows 7) you need to right-click on the image and select Properties. Then triple-click on the address (the http:// part) to select all of it, and right-click to copy. After that follow steps 4 through 7.

Should we split this out into a help section in the Cafe? I am thinking it would be worth a sticky.
Input please.
We Mods can sort things out later.
