I'd guess it was used to break open beer barrels and smash booze bottles. It was probably made to commemorate either the passage of the 18th amendment or something Carrie Nation did in 1901. There are two parts. You could say that it could break barrels & bottles but that is not what is in the discription I have. ... |

Well, if what I already said didn't cover it, I'm stuck. I suppose I could try to research it, but I'm too tired. Close enough Bill take it away. Funny claim. I have seen "Push me pull you" that were made by the quakers in the 1500's |

The axe end, was for shaping the hard wood pieces for controlled burning in the oven, the blunt side for knocking loose debris and carbon in the stove and the handle end for opening and closing the oven doors and repositioning the burner plates. It was made in commemoration of prohibition, and the reverse probably has an advertisement on it. It could also be hung for art. Possibly, it came with a stove. BOINC WIKI |

I hope it's not some sort of clone of a Slap-Chop. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
