Thank you for the win. Fermentation lock. For home brewing. Filled with water like a plumbing gas trap, it allows CO2 to escape without letting air get back in. Could be used for making beer or wine. Janice |

Carlos and Chris are on the right track, However I do not see a name of it that I could buy one (or more) with. I do not see anything handy to measure it with and it is cold and raining to go get something.. so the size is near 4".. Janice |

This is what I had in mind Egg Ring is acceptable. Congratulations Chris. Also valid answer would be Crumpet or Muffin Ring. It does work okay as a cookie cutter or (american)Bisquit cutter as well. Janice |
