	I would like to express my thanks to the whole team for their tireless efforts to make life easy for us dummies. I think I started on Win 95 before I saw the light. Since then I have run Boinc/Seti on a motley assortment of salvaged machines , using early unix/BSD, any number of Linux variations , sometimes on command line. Now this thing happens to have Mac OS X on a dual boot with Mint 10 ( I think ). I can honestly state that I have had very few problems over the years , most being of my own making. Thus any criticism of the Boinc/ Berkeley team would seem to me to be ill founded. Rob ( UK ) .

	Especially when its the truth. Right now, Seti is a mess. Richard, if you support the SETI@home project only when things are going well, it's not supported. If, according to your point of view, this is a mess, you just have to abandon the project instead of criticizing while remaining a member. The great strength of this project is that these members have unwavering faith in his ability to find a signal even if all technical hazards they may encounter. 	Algo está sucediendo ya que me sale el mensaje de cpu ocupada, no termina de cargar BOINC, quisiera poder solucionarlo pero no sé como. Gracias

	I did this many moons ago when it took days to run 1. I had a 386 at the time I believe. I think at that time i got a certificate cause I ran 100 took a very long time. I am very glad to be back and will put this newer computer to work.

	as long as the seti@home servers are up, my computers will be crunching data for you. i know i won't be alive when the first signal is found, but it's nice to know that i was a small, if insignificant, part of it. ____________

	BOINC started with the idea of exploiting "spare cycles" on PCs. Now people are building home made supercomputers using graphic boards and flood the servers with their results, both valid and not valid. This is the main cause of SETI problems, besides that of being underfunded. Tullio ____________
