	We're thankful for you, our volunteers, who continue to donate your time, computers and money to keep SETI@home up and running and improving. Thank you for your kind words Eric, that is nice to hear. You must at times think you do a thankless task, judging by the some of the posts in NC. But I'm sure you know, as do all of us, that there are really only a handful of dissenters out of 150,000 active users. It just looks sometimes that there are more than that! A couple of days ago I passed my 12th anniversary with Seti@Home, and I don't regret a minute of it. 	Thanks Seti@Home, I have enjoyed being part of this program for many years. Actually, I lost my account a for few years. When a received a great gift from my son. HE remembered watching is as a kid on my computers. He found the site and we spent an hour together going through passwords and finally we got it and reactivated the account. Since then I have passed our Seti@Home program to about 10+ new users in other countries. ____________

	I've been in it, continuously, since late August of 1999, and I'm in it for the long haul. Up through the "classes" of computers from when workunits took DAYS to do to now, when they take hours. They fed me the data and I crunched it. They scanned and coded and fixed and tweaked and believed. It was the least I could do to let them use my spare cycles. I believe we can not POSSIBLY be alone and, whether it's a "local love affair" or a "long distance relationship", there are other intelligences out there and we will find them. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not the next day, but, we will find them. Without Eric and his crew, we would have no chance. We do the "grunt work", but they point the way. They scan the skies and say "Tis light-years to go, before we sleep" Without their determination and dedication, the quest would never have been joined and the search would be haphazard, at best. Lead on, Gentlemen, we are right behind you.... ____________
