Our team tends to eat everything in their path. Nope, I'm not blaming GPUUG or S@H splitters, but just couple hours before when E@H team challenge ended "Ready to Send" dropped down like a stone :) GPUUG does have very hungry kittens ;) "Please keep Your signature under four lines so Internet traffic doesn't go up too much" - In 1992 when I had my first e-mail address - |

Oh look, we can report again, but now it's losing the tasks again someplace between appointing them and actually sending them. 15/12/2012 01:04:41 | SETI@home | [sched_op] Starting scheduler request 15/12/2012 01:04:41 | SETI@home | Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks. 15/12/2012 01:04:41 | SETI@home | Reporting 11 completed tasks 15/12/2012 01:04:41 | SETI@home | Requesting new tasks for CPU 15/12/2012 01:04:41 | SETI@home | [sched_op] CPU work request: 90939.33 seconds; 0.00 devices 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Scheduler request completed: got 10 new tasks 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.10.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.16.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.22.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.45.vlar_0 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.14.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.72.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.106.vlar_0 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.115.vlar_1 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.121.vlar_0 15/12/2012 01:05:32 | SETI@home | Resent lost task 20no12aa.31807.55326.140733193388041.10.179.vlar_1 So... if I get 10 new tasks, and get 10 resends, were those new tasks lost immediately, or are there still 10 lost ones? ;-) |

Oh look, we can report again, but now it's losing the tasks again someplace between appointing them and actually sending them. I had that problem with Einstein, problem is they kept sending Me the same 12 wu's over and over and over, I had to disconnect to stop that. Getting a lot of timeouts on the Scheduler requests again. Combined with a lot of VLARs when i finally do get work, i'll probably run out of GPU work for a while before i'm able to get more. Grant Darwin NT |

I wasn't able to contact the server for hours with one machine. The other two machines didn't have a problem. I was finally able to contact by using a proxy, but, all I got was ATI MB tasks. My one nVidia card has been out of work for hours... |

I just had to restart my i7's Boinc Manager because it said it couldn't connect to the internet. Once I did, it flushed out huge numbers of uploads for both Seti and Einstein. Then it downloaded a huge number of new tasks for Einstein. When it asks Seti, it gets "no tasks are available for SETI@home v7." Well, what about any other Seti project? Right now I have four (yes, 4) Seti units for CPU and none (0) for GPU. At least they're on board; no ghosts. Update: since I wrote this, it tried several more times, and one of those times it got 61 tasks for GPU. But then on the next request, it again got "no tasks available for v7." Setiathome v7 hasn't been released yet at the Main Seti project, so therefore there are no v7 tasks available, so you'll always get that message when you're got the v7 preference selected and you ask for work (until v7 is released) If you're got a huge amount of Einstein tasks, perhaps the CPU cache is full now, was Boinc even asking for CPU work? were there any other lines saying eithier 'no tasks sent' or 'no tasks available'? I'm getting page time outs on both the Seti and BOINC pages. Probably a sign I should be here on a Sunday. :-) |
