My i7 has been holding at 163 tasks in progress all week. I know it's been reporting finished work and downloading more because some of the ones in progress were downloaded this morning. So why is it holding at 163? Surely Eric didn't write a limit routine complicated enough to take into account my project resource shares, did he?
FWIW, I've been letting my machines work through this crisis without invoking any proxies or tweaking my cache settings. My tasks in progress got below 100 for a while and my RAC has crashed (conversely, my total credit world position sets a new high every day, which leads me to conclude that most other people's RAC is crashing about the same as mine) while my Einstein production has skyrocketed (still not sure if that's because I can't get Seti or if the host felt it owed Einstein some work), but I never ran completely dry (that I know of).
