This is why the stance taken by the far right, Catholic church and the teaparty is wrong. "In an attempt to save a 4-month-old foetus they killed my ... daughter. How is that fair you tell me?" A Mahadevi told several Indian television stations.

yep kill the mother even when the baby(fetus) is already dead inside the womb. What an excellent policy. It certainly lets people know that God is helping them even when they don't share the same beliefs in god

No proof of God, yet this proves the existence of the devil or at least evil forces.

No proof of God, yet this proves the existence of the devil or at least evil forces. In Anthroposophy they are called the fallen angels also known as demons. Some people mistake them with aliens. ____________

Totally off topic, feel free to move it elsewhere. Fallen angel is a concept that is typically synonymous with a wicked or rebellious angel. As the actual term fallen angel is not found in either the Hebrew Bible or the Deuterocanonical Books or the New Testament, biblical commentators use this term to describe angels who sinned or angels cast down to the earth from the "War in Heaven" A "war in heaven" is an expression used in the Book of Revelation in reference to a combat it recounts between angels led respectively by the archangel Michael and by "the dragon", identified with "the devil and Satan", who is defeated and thrown down to the earth. During the last ET visitation, beings apparently flying like birds were called various grades of angels. It is believed by some that at the end of that visitation, there was some sort of mutiny upon the orbiting mothership. Chief Angel Michael was the captain, and Satan was the rebel ringleader. The rogue band of crewmen having been beaten, either jumped ship, or were effectively deported by being left behind. Of course I can't prove it, nor can anyone disprove it!

Things like that can never be proven I guess. It goes far beyond the exact science.

Of course it does. Fun to speculate though, provided one doesn't take it too seriously :-)

What ever happend to the oath. Do no harm. How the heck can you let a woman die when there was never hope for the child? Fear of repercussions impair a doctor's ability to perform actions in accord with their oath: In 1992, Ireland’s Supreme Court ruled that abortion should be allowed if the mother’s life was in danger but the law has never been changed, forcing thousands of women to travel abroad for terminations every year. source If a horse whipping is needed, it seems politicians should be the first to be on the receiving end. ____________ I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ...

If a horse whipping is needed, it seems politicians should be the first to be on the receiving end. Isn't the problem that they are Catholic? Seems to me like the Pope, bishops and cardinals need the horse whipping. Oh wait, they enjoy it! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flagellation Some members of strict monastic orders, and some members of the lay organization Opus Dei, practice mild self-flagellation using an instrument called a "discipline", a cattail whip usually made of knotted cords, which is flung over the shoulders repeatedly during private prayer.[13] Pope John Paul II took the discipline regularly.[14] ____________

If a horse whipping is needed, it seems politicians should be the first to be on the receiving end. It was quite obvious that Éamon de Valera, a long time Taoiseach, wouldn't scratch his nose without permission from the Catholic church.
