Because of the current problems here at S@h, I thought my machine could crunch a few PrimeGrid WUs in the time if no S@h WUs are in BOINC .. I forgot my password there .. http://www.primegrid.com/get_passwd.php I inserted two times my EMail there, but no EMail received from PrimeGrid with a *password URL* (one day log in). Is the above mentioned function currently not working there at PrimeGrid? Thanks. * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * ![]() ![]() |

Works for me. I received the email from them less than two minutes after entering my address. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours |

Thanks to all. Correct EMail used in past (I think). The PrimeGrid EMail not as SPAM set in EMail account (but I don't know if the service provider have made it automatically somewhere hidden). Hmm .. - strange .. I made it the 3rd time, copy/paste the EMail for to be 100 % sure that it's not a typing error .. I got a message on the site that I'll get an EMail soon. After ~ 10 minutes no EMail received .. (The other two tries were a day ago.) I tested it with an other EMail, then the site said *no user found*. So there is an account with the *correct* EMail, but it don't work (at least not for me). I made the PrimeGrid account in May/2009, maybe something gone lost? Or an other problem? * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * ![]() ![]() |

Maybe if you still have the account_primegrid.xml file on your systems you could use the data in <authenticator></authenticator> to log in. SETI@home classic workunits: 93,865 CPU time: 863,447 hours |

Our BOINC wide team is there, should the team founder email and password not be the same on all projects? i.e. have you tried your "BOINC wide team founder password" and not something else you might have used before? . ![]() |

Having you tried logging onto your email account and viewing your emails as webmail? perhaps it's in a SPAM filter there. Claggy |

Thanks to all. I don't know if the BOINC-wide team founder PIN could work. I check my EMails only online. As far as I know, I have a SPAM folder, but the EMail/s wasn't there. I don't know if the service provider/EMail account have also a hidden SPAM filter, so that I don't see the automatically deleted EMails. In the meantime I had contact with an admin of PrimeGrid (other EMail ;-) and he helped me to log in and then I could set a new PIN. Hmm .. - I guess I would need to ask my EMail service provider why I didn't got the EMail/s from PrimeGrid. It's strange .. The both EMails of PrimeGrid have the same domain, only other receiver names before the @. The automatically EMails of PrimeGrid I didn't received, the one from the admin yes. .. strange. Again, thanks to all. :-) * Best regards! :-) * Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. * Optimize your PC for higher RAC. * SETI@home needs your help. * ![]() ![]() |

I don't know if the BOINC-wide team founder PIN could work. Well... it should... I think. I mean at least I'd assume, that the account created automatically for the team founder does not have just some random password, thet would not be very user friendly. I don't know if the service provider/EMail account have also a hidden SPAM filter, so that I don't see the automatically deleted EMails. Most of them have one, which you can't disable at all, even if there's another one which you can enable/disable as you like. Hmm .. - I guess I would need to ask my EMail service provider why I didn't got the EMail/s from PrimeGrid. Ususlly it helps to add the primegrid domain to your white list, that should override also the first spam filter, i.e. the one you have no control over. At least it helped once for me when I needed. . ![]() |
