Appart from having set the config to suspend work and not use GPU while computer is in use both from the project's web and BOINC manager settings, I tried Snooze, Snooze GPU, Activity=>Suspend GPU. BOINC manager shows the activity is suspended, but the CUDA process seems to be ignoring the command and progress and elapsed time keep going up until 100% completion, and my GPU keeps getting hotter. It won't stop until the current chunk is 100% completed (sometimes nearly 1 hour)
I'm running Seti@home Enhanced 6.10 (cuda_fermi) on a GEFORCE GT540M nvidia CUDA 5.0.1 driver (file version 8.17.13.0697), my OS is windows 7 ultimate 64 bit service pack 1, and my chipset is an Intel Core i5-2410M
Has anybody had the same issue? Any advice? |
