I cannot comment, Chris. I have not looked at any soap for 15+ years, they bore the pants ... It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues |

The only "good" bit about the soaps are the closing themes. At least this Christmas I won't be afflicted by my sister-in-law's addiction Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

As a strident female myself I must be one of the gullible. I was so thrilled to be able to catch up with Eastenders after leaving the UK. I can't get BBC iPlayer here but people upload the soaps to youtube so I can watch them on the same day as in the UK. I also caught up with Casualty, another good one, and quite subversive in it's way. What lowered the tone in the UK was thatcherism, changed the culture into the greedy mess that we now have. |

Hmm?.... (-100)...Perhaps we should go back to those pre-Thatcher days...I should think not!! The Kite Fliers -------------------- Kite fliers: An imaginary club of solo members, those who don't yet belong to a formal team so "fly their own kites" - as the saying goes. |
