I seen my first one in years about a month ago maybe 100 to 150 feet away from my complex just laying there for the longest time.

That one must have been hungry, I remember this one, it didn't end nicely for the cat, they did try to tranq it, problem is they left the cat an escape route, dumb. But that's My opinion.

You know next time I go into Safeway"s (local markets) I'm going to make a head count on how many brands and kinds of cereal they have on this 100 foot isle. It totally blows my mind how many kinds they have. It's all cereal.

Well this will be a rough count Uli, I wouldn't stand there for 2 days. Like you 3 or 4 kinds works for me. Right now I can't even drive or stand, I have been grounded.

I find it amazing how many are basically the same as others. Different packaging, different quality standards but..

Squares of(pick grain), puffed(pick grain) shredded(pick grain).

Somewhere I was reading one of the earliest breakfast cereals was popcorn. Honestly I do not go that far back but it does not sound unlikely.
I also notice that the word "sugar" has been removed from most of the names, most likely to coincide with the HFCS substitutes.

I heard about popcorn once before somewhere, never tried it myself but if I was hungry enough I darn sure would. That must have been from the america's since corn came from here I would think. I could be wrong.

The question is how far back does that go ? Where did the popcorn come from at first?
