I just exited and launched BOINC to see if it would make a difference. They are sending me more CUDA stuff. I have CUDAs, I was out of CPUs so they first sent these 32 hour long CPU APs. If I wanted to do a CPU AP I'd boot to OSX where the optimized App runs them over 3 times as fast. Note there is nothing for the AMD 6850 that can knock out an AP in 40 minutes...

The rig running 6.10.60 shows 533 in progress at the moment and had some when I was looking earlier today. Are you saying you're dry and all of those are ghosts? Scheduler should still send those ghosts up to the limits of 100cpu/100gpu. Not sure why you're not getting anything if you're dry. By the way, you can get rid of the AP 5.05 nuisance message by deselecting in your project prefs. Curiously, you can get rid of the ATI message by selecting it, even though you don't have one. Don't ask why! Hope you know I've posted some things you probably already know because I figure more folks are having the same problems. Don't think there's a way around getting some AP for cpu the way the prefs are structured. Looks like AP splitters are about finished with the currently mounted data files. To get some cpu work, see suggestions earlier in the thread (turn off gpu fetch, etc.) ____________ Another Fred Support SETI@home when you search the Web or shop online with GoodSearch and GoodShop

Mark wrote: I found the Abort button. No more 601s on my XP GPU system. I decided to run one just to see how long it would take. The Estimate was for 32 hours. I can do three at a time in OSX in 9 hours. Someone posted about the Proxies, they work. I just downloaded a load of 603s. Still no 604 ATI APs. They must really be out. I used a US proxy from here http://proxyhttp.net/free-list/proxy-https-security-anonymous-proxy#proxylist Worked for me :)
