Since about 2 days ago my main crunching computer an I7 quad core @ 4.0ghz with 3 x GTX260 GPU is only crunching a single cuda unit at a time. No cpu units at all and only using one of my GPU even though there are dozens of other tasks standing by. The only downloaded tasks are ALL CUDA based. Beside the tasks can be seen (0.358CPU + 1 GPU). Even if there are no current CPU tasks shouldn't it be using all three GPU concurrently? When looking at active tasks there is only the 1 listed.

All my preferences are set to 100% CPU and core use. Normally I would be crunching 3x cuda and up to 8 CPU tasks.

Win 7 x64
BOINC 7.0.28

Thanks for your time,

Malcolm

There's nothing to send, so that's why you and everyone else doesn't get any work: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html

Thanks for the info and the link!

Nice avatar btw. Just re-watched the whole series on bluray. Even now I still get sad when it ends.

I have the similar problem but still it is the different one.

My BOINC computing the only 1 GPU task while many other task are 'ready to start'. Normally, there should be 8 CPU tasks + 1 GPU task should run. All 8 CPU task ended and the only GPU task is in progress... I believe other tasks will start to run when the only GPU task will end the computing.

Is it a user config case or BOINC normal practice?

Thanks!

I am sorry for the same question as it was asked in some other threads.
As i understood it is the BOINC practice and nothing could be done on this.
No problem. SOLVED :)
