To start.. I have not overclocked anything in my computer.. CPU: Intel I7 2600 GPU: EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 TI GPU driver Ver. 306.02 16 gigs Kingston HyperX Ram.. Window 7 Sp 1 fully updated.. Thank You for posting. Please take a number and have a seat , someone will be with you shortly. ...kidding aside Yep, that is exactly what needs to be done. It is a known issue with the newer drivers and the Kepler GPU's/ |

Ok.. So.. Windows was putting my monitor to sleep after like 60 minutes.. It is now set to never.. I usualy turn my monitor off at night anways.. How will I know if anything I do fixes the issue.. Is there some log file I can look at to monitor my own reporting quality?? I also did the environmentvariable solution.. Again, all I need now is feed back on my reports.. |

You could run and leave running GPUz overnight to monitor your GPU. You could also check your results on S@H to see if it is spitting our errors still. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

Is there some log file I can look at to monitor my own reporting quality?? Yes! Assuming you are looking at the forum using an "ordinary" browser immediately below the title bar you will see a band with the words "Home", "Participate", "About", "Community", "Account", "Statistics". Clicking on "Account" will bring up a new screen which will get you access to lots of stuff, one of which is "computers on this account". Click on "view" alongside this and you will get another screen which gives you a summary of the state of play of each of your computers. At the righthand side of this, under each computer id, there are the words "details" and "tasks", "tasks" is a link to the page you are looking for, at the top of the page there is a summary of the state of play for the computer - one of mine looks like: State: All (1837) · In progress (1258) · Validation pending (399) · Validation inconclusive (50) · Valid (120) · Invalid (0) · Error (10) Application: All (1837) · Astropulse v505 (0) · AstroPulse v6 (5) · SETI@home Enhanced (1832) · SETI@home v7 (0) below this summary is a table which gives more information about the state of each task, the summary can be used to filter the information, so by selecting "error" you will only see the tasks that ended in errors. It is worth bookmarking the "tasks" page for each of your computers and checking it about once a day while chasing down problems - a quick glance at it can tell you if there is an issue, or if everything is going well. In the case of the PC I've given the snapshot for I know I get a problem if I try to run some of the CAD models I work with, while doing some FEA work and trying to crunch for S@H at the same time (it gives the GPU a headache....)
