That's true. Best place to eat something is in its country of origin I guess.
Funny how McDonalds changes the menus like in Hawaii they even serve rice and I have heard other's like Japan and so on put a twist to the meals. I don't stop there often I can't handle the grease and salt. I wonder how Taco Bell does in China? :)
We only have McDonalds here, no Burger King, Taco Bell or Jack in the Box. We also have the Belgian counterpart of McDonalds which is called 'Quick'. In Holland they do have Burger King though.
In Yermo, We have Jack in the Box, Burger Den(in the Original location of the 1st Del Taco restaurant), Peggy Sue's 50's Diner, Calico Ghost Town and there's a smaller diner near the Jack in the Box that I've been passed that I don't know the name of... But that's all for Yermo, Barstow has more, McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box, 3-DelTaco's, Taco Bell, KFC, Wendys, Sizzler, Ihop, PizzaHut, Little Caesars, Domino's Pizza, etc, etc...
Wow, wouldn't be good for my diet to live there. Where I live, you have to drive 20 minutes to go to a Mc Donalds... rOZZ

I must say I'm not that fond of fastfood either but the children like it once in a while. I'd rather have a good home cooked meal. rOZZ

One can go through a lot of money in short order, I seldom stop at any of them. Doughnut shop is my big thing.

I have to laugh when I was 16 the only one out there at the time was McDonalds, the only show in town. Burgers was 15 cents, cheese burgers were 20 cents ans milkshakes was 25 cents. Then another place opened up selling burgers for 10 cent? well those were the days when you go out with a date for under 5 dollars. :)
P.S. gas was 22 cents and as cheap as 15 cents. and today? I can't start my for under that. :))

20 minutes or so is how far away Mc Donalds is from here in Yermo, I rarely go to a fast food place, how often is rarely? The last time I did was about 2 or 3 years ago, I cook My own food, it's less expensive than driving... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

I have no kids and Grace could care less, a dog would at least like the fries, besides most burgers have over 1500 calories, that's a lot and I'm heavy enough now and I think I've lost some weight or at least not added any. So I stop at once a year having a thin crust pizza and a bottle of mountain dew, maybe. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

Since I live too far from shopping, I buy frozen, but then I'd rather not do all the prep just for the veggies to wind up in the freezer, fries are still potatoes and I've noticed some changes, but none of them bad and since I don't have enough rechargeable AA batteries I can't use the scale that I have, is it accurate? Probably not, but it's close enough. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

The scale I have here uses batteries as it's a digital scale. I'm not into using springs. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's

How long have the Italians been using tomatoes in their cooking?
That started around 1492, but didn't really get going until the 18th Century according to the wiki at least...
He's right on that one. Potatoes, tomatoes and think corn too. had a very slow starting but look at them today.
Look at how many kinds of potatoes their are now. almost 500 kinds of tomatoes, and how many selects of corn and all started with a boat ride.
