Dang, no story about, "My dad's part in the downfall of a major spy ring" You can have slides scanned for about 12 cents a slide. Just search "scan to digital" I have a slide scanner but it's much easier to send them to someone else. |

Dang, no story about, "My dad's part in the downfall of a major spy ring" I can get a Kodak Ektagraphic III ATS Slide Projector with Built in Slide Viewer for about $150 w/shipping, scanning the slides would be $214.80 and I have around a dozen boxes of 140 capacity slide trays. I have around a dozen boxes of 140 capacity slide trays. Jeepers, megga memories too, Vic; when was the last time you viewed them all? I have around a dozen boxes of 140 capacity slide trays. Me? I've never pulled them out, Dad had last shown them about 40 years ago, the slides are in excellent shape though. I don't know when He last viewed them though, after the divorce from Mom, I never saw them until I inherited them... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

I have around a dozen boxes of 140 capacity slide trays. Note: I inherited the slides from My Brother after He passed away, I think He had Dads projector and screen at first, but that was gone by the time I got the slides, the trays are also in immaculate shape too. Yeah and My 4 Relatives would love to see their Dad and their Aunt when they were Younger and the slides go back a few years, Dad was really good at making good shots too. The slides to add up. I personally had a collection from my own travels of over 2,000 slides. I started to scan my ex-father in laws collection which included trips to greece, rome, mexico, peru, and more. I found over 100 carousels and still have not counted all of the boxes. He was an artist and taught college level art history and painting classes. He took pictures of classical works and of landmarks. I have some great pictures of the Acropolis and Pyramids before WWII. I don't know when I will be done scanning. I have also sent hundreds of slides to be scanned. I do a few hundred at a time, when I have time. |

As card-carrying members of Team Insomnia, Carlos and I appear to keep roughly the same hours. Vic, I'm not sure when you sleep! |

Insomnia is good (#291). Winning while creating and mailing pretty invitations for a barn dance party for our 40th Wedding Aniversary. |
