we've a couple of stores here that specialize in British imports. There is this little shop in Gastown that I pass almost every day: Tho this place is primarily Scottish, they've some verrrry tasty British sweets.. :) Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas. Albert Einstein |

Yeah, English imported food stores are big here in Eastern Canuckville as well. Mostly cater to the ex-pats I guess, they seem to have mostly obscure brands of tea and British junk food. There is one near us that also rents kilts by the hour. Seriously. Brit butchers and bakers are seen sometime as well. We have one that makes the best Scotch eggs.... |

Some heathens apparently like to get married in a kilt, and would then never use it again. Renting sort of makes some sense then. |

My lower legs are no longer hairy... Oh and as to English food, some like bangers and mash sounds interesting... The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Come to NYC (after it's recovered). In Manhattan there's Tea & Sympathy, its partner A Salt and Battery, The Spotted Pig, etc. Brooklyn has its Chip Shops, Park Slope and Atlantic Avenue. And many more. I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that ... |

Traditional english foods are an endangered spieces here in Australia since the invasion of such "delicies" as macdonalds and hungry jacks. |

Plenty of tartan for Macleod but difficult to find for the Mcleod clan. ...My lower legs are no longer hairy... LOL Vic! You realize that now we are all imagining you shaving your legs with a pink plastic razor in a tub full of bubbles. |
