Yes Sir! More specifically, Font's Point overlooking the Borrego Badlands. The drop-off their literally takes your breath away as the air pressure changes with the wind direction and if it is at your back...it is noticeable. The view is somewhat kin to that of the South Rim looking down. Here's a little video of the experience:

I have been there too. But forgot the name. Will have to check my travel notes. It's pacific coast Mexico, One of the ports between Acapulco and Mazatlan. Is it Manzanillo?
