My kids are already asking when we're going to set up the Christmas tree. They got into the spirit of Christmas already... We always set it up after 6th December. That's when we celebrate Saint Nicholas, the day when children get a lot of toys and candy.

I wish I had the room for that, but to have the room for that I'd need a house with more room, sigh...

I'm anxious to put up the tree, can't blame that one on my son. :-) He did however find his toys in our closet, so I know when he unwraps them next month he will be one happy camper.

We are going to wait until after our Thanksgiving to put up the tree.

Vic, like you we are limited for space, I plan on temporarily moving some furniture around to make room for our tree... You should try to find a tabletop tree, I've always seen those around, they sometimes even have the lights and ornaments "built in".

When we put up a tree, a real one
We cut off the top and bottom to fit
It makes a good 6 foot 8 inchs in height
and has a 7 foot spread at the base.

It's good to be back amongst friends and colleagues

Me I just powered up the gas heater, as I was starting to cough and Grace could use the warmth too, but then I can't keep the house warm even while crunching now, it's 50F outside now and the prediction for tonight is for 39F outside... Thankfully I don't live in Big Bear CA, their low tonight is seriously cold, it's supposed to get down to 15F there, brr...

Haha, my wifey's birthday is a few days after X-mas, so I know what it's like to have to think of so much at once. :-)
