Boots and Maggie look good together Dave, but then it is winter time and cats like warm bodies, especially if there are no other cats.

Three years ago there were 3 cats, then we lost our two oldest ones in less than a year. So the remaining cat has become very good friends with the dog. We'd love to get another cat but frankly our space and time our limited so for now we've decided to concentrate our attention on the animals we have.

People do, indeed, have indoor raccoons. YouTube is full of videos of such pets and I have no doubt that the picture John posted is authentic. I imagine you would have to have an indoor raccoon on a pretty strict worming regimen and I cannot even possibly imagine how one would potty train a raccoon.
