I'm planning to hide her medicines in her ice cream!!!

My dogs and Happy also wouldn't take pills like that. I always put it in their food, canned food that is. They never spit it out either.

We give out 6 treats for 09.00pm, at night, as small bits of a skinless sausage. We get 4 bits per sausage, and a pill fitted deep in to one is an entrance to medicine dosing. Don't do it often.

Permanently, it would seem. See why I am motivated to get her back on all four of her naughty little raccoon feet?

Coming up on 2 weeks in the new place.

I am only 1/3rd unpacked...

My office/geek lab is still in pieces and all packed, this is partly due to some pieces of my furniture that were left in a friend's truck used for the move, and also being busy at work still, and one day a week off of work is just not enough time to accomplish much.

Soon though. I hope.

I tried very hard today to befriend a critter, if not to catch him and send him to Angela, at least to get his picture. I was unable to do either, despite him accepting my bribes of apples and oranges. The critter in question was a "hard shelled possum", aka an armadillo. Maybe next time.

Halloween is Angela's time o year.

As to pups--yes it can be fun. My little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Abby has no problem taking pills. If I drop it trying to give to her-all I do is point at the floor and she'll find it and take it.

Izzy (our princess Cavvie) MUST have her pills in American Cheese. She knows the difference if we offer Swiss...won't take it.

As to feeding issues---here' a little piece I wrote the other night on bad things to feed the pups.

American Cheese. an item known to many UK squaddies as Cheese Possessed

And apparently still issued, just in a fancy tin these days. The Official British Army Blog - What you make of it

Well, I needed something to hold down my bag of pork rinds, French fries and Twinkies so they didn't blow off the dashboard.
