It's a soap holder for sudzing up the dish washing water. From the good old days before dish washing liquid was invented. Dont know what they were called though. It is called a soap saver. As the sink would fill up you would let the water run over it and to make more suds you would whisk up the sink water. Take it away Monday. ... |

You really need to pay attention to the url of the image. I was going to ask for scale, but... http://www.thebakerskitchen.net/ProductImages/candy_shop/candy_sticks/Sucker_Stick_Paper.jpg That pretty much says it all. Do you want to try again? BOINC WIKI |

Don't feel bad Monday! I've made the same mistake several times myself. When much younger, I purchased a bag of such sticks and a pan of heart shaped molds with room at the bottom of each heart for laying sucker sticks. I tried to make chocolate suckers. They were just awful! That was the day I learned the hard way what happens to melted chocolate if it is not tempered properly. |

Some sort of camping pie-cooker? Put dough on either side and perhaps some cooked fruit between the dough? Press together and "bake" in a campfire? |

Its a jam waffle maker. My mum had one in the early 50's. If I recall you put twp poieses of bread in it and it toasted them together over an open fire. should have gotten here sooner. I have one in my camping gear. |
