These are a couple of favorite pieces that might amuse you whilst wondering about those tongs.

Guy's name was Jerry Ringlien, as I recall.
Now, this guy's biz was advertising Oscar Mayer wieners........

Which, as it turned out, he did very well indeed.

Mr. Ringlien dispenses more truth and wisdom in these few glimpses into his life than many folks shall ever posses.

Egg slammer shell cracker

Based on the above guess I got it.

Rosie Stainless Steel Egg Topper cracks the top of the egg shell so that it's easily lifted off by hand or with a knife.
