This should take you to the 2011 budget. It was posted on the page you went to when you clicked on the link in your donation request letter on the left-hand side of the page under "Q: How is my donation spent?"

I suppose this means the 2012 budget is, indeed, not yet available.

I donated some hours ago and see neither the star, nor the donation in my donations list. Is there some queue waiting?
On the other hand, I didn't even receive my email about the donation, so I'm wondering whether I mistyped my email address?

Dear Kara, had been reported some time ago, the discovery by SETI of 3 objects rapidly approaching the Earth, whose location at coordinates: 16 19 35 -88 43 10 19 -89 25 12 46 3:02 26 39 -89 43 13, respectively. What truth there is in this story? Which location today? and where can I read more about this? A hug. And please answer me something.

False report..

Seti has no ability to discover moving objects especially near earth. The data it processes is a set sweep from Aricibo and seldom veers much..


seti is similar to opening a radio telescope lens onto the sky and letting it sweep as the earth rotates it across the sky.

I am confused about the fund raiser. Why should I donate if there is no interest at Seti to fix this problem?

This is sounding like the movie "Contact".
No motivation unless there is public recognition.
Other projects appear to to have more public feel good value
and therefore given more attention.

I have supported Seti since 2000 and will continue to do so.
I would love to get on with it but I have not been able to upload or download WU's for weeks.
Is there a work-around that a layman can perform?

I am getting SETI@home on both of my Linux boxes, MB on the HP laptop and ap on the SUN WS, with Lunatics optimized app. Now I shall fire up my Solaris Virtual machine to see if I can get a SETI@home app, with a BOINC client and SETI@home app by Dotsch.
