The peace is like I get walking my dogs along the Viking Way, miles from any people and habitations. That was until I got the myeloma diagnosed last April.
When I have completed the stem cell part of the treatment and built my walking back up, then it's dog walking daily again ...

My brother has been going through the same thing but what kind of treatment I don't know but he said he was doing much better.

That is the beauty of modern knowledge and chemo drugs. But, more important the knowledge of the generation of your own immune system stem cells (own genetic markers and no risk of rejection). This allows the doctors, after stem cell harvesting and storage, to destroy the old immune system and use the stem cells to build a new one. While this goes on, for between 2 and 4 weeks, the treatment will be in isolation and the hospital acts as the immune system from blood results and virus and bacterial analysis.
It is wonderful to realise that 10-15 years ago this near routing was very much new laboratory stuff.
I am aware, for the UK, that 4 new myeloma chemo drugs are coming in. 2 under clinical approval trials and a further 2 moving to clinical trials and approval for use. I also understand there is at least another 2 or 3 which look very promising.

Have you tried uploading your pictures to an image hosting website, like Photobucket? Then you have a link that comes with the picture to put between the IMG BBcode tags.
