Ive said it before, You do away with SS, Give me my money back with interest, And we call it even.
SS would be ok today if the pig at the troth politician would have left it alone.

I could not agree more.
I'd be sitting mighty fine if I had every dime I paid into SS since I started working 40 years ago in my own unpillaged account earning interest for ME.

How's your 401(k) doing after the crash?

You guys piss and moan about this party or that. Well both partys suck and are idiots. But we are the stupid ones for keeping them in power.
Someone has to be in power to run things. You guys over the pond have the same problem that the UK has (had).

Two main parties, both as bad as each other, and no alternative.

I don't know who to vote for Tuesday. But who cares its the same ole same ole.

We have a different ole at the moment, a coalition. Well, surprise, surprise, no-one likes that either.

Simple answer. Vote for this lot. You know it makes sense.

At least one of the two parties has not wrecked the UK economy twice - first in 1979, with union help; and, second 3 years ago.

You know my position John. We have the best compromise we can manage at the moment. Never ever voted Labour.

Im sick of the crap. We are supposed to tighten our belts and suck it up as the D.C. ripoff buttwipes vote them selves a payraise and get great free health care for the rest of there life. And pass laws that they dont have to obey. And get a retirement package that we can only dream of.

You guys piss and moan about this party or that. Well both partys suck and are idiots. But we are the stupid ones for keeping them in power.

No I'm not say if you don't get $20 dinners in bed but people need the right to health care at some point. Look if the gov. over all the years would have kept the finger out this big pie, Money wouldn't even be a issue.

Since all this SS is such a big issue why don't we disolve the gov. retirement plan too which we pay for?

Is this a view gained with hindsight or could you have predicted that 40 years ago.

And would you still be saying that if you had got some long lasting medical problem 10 years ago and you hadn't worked since then?

A while ago we had George Bush (Jnr) to show,
and Mitt is eager for him to have a go.
I wonder how many more conflicts their party will allow,
or will it be the big showdown, some how?

But the sort of policy announcements look as if they are thought up on the spur of a moment, and likely to be difficult or impossible to implement?
