Weird one: I am running BOINC in advanced mode because if I click on 'simple' view, the window is about 10 pixels square, just big enough to click back to 'advanced' view to see what is happening.

How do I increase the size of the 'simple' view window? It will not drag to a new size (the cursor will not 'hook' on the margins of the window)

Thanks

What if you right click on it, does the Size option become available? Or the maximize option?

Requested by the BOINC developers, did you skin it differently, or what Simple View skin was selected (in the View menu in Simple View, click Skin if available)?

Right Click gives "Move", "Minimize" or "Close" as the only options

There are no alternative skins to choose from (the right click-skins is greyed out)

OK, I hope you're familiar with the Windows registry, as that's where you should go to to fix this problem.

First off, exit BOINC completely.
Do Start->type regedit in the Search bar and hit Enter.
Click Yes in the next box.
Maximize the registry window.
Next open up HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley\BOINC Manager\Simple

In this key you will find the XPos and YPos values of simple view.
Make the XPos value 416 decimal (1a0 hexadecimal)
Make the YPos value 570 decimal (23a hexadecimal)

Next restart BOINC (Start->All Programs->BOINC->BOINC Manager and if necessary switch to simple view. Is it fixed? (According to the developers it should be, although I disagree with the values they gave me. ;-))

Applied the regedit fix and it is now looking fine.

Thank you for the help
