	Here is one, years ago in upstate NY we had a beer called Genesee Cream ale. I bought 6- 12 packs out here in CA. Oh man I was in hog heaven. Can't get them to send me another (not a dealer) and the store won't get anymore. The lady told me she had a women call from Alaska and she would even buy a truck load? Nope! Well Alaska is a tough state anyway. As a local to that particular brewery I have two statements. 1. Eck, how you and others can drink Cream Ale is beyond me. ;-) 2. As far as I've heard, Genesee sells more of that stuff in other states than they do here, so someone somewhere has some more for you. Please don't cut me down for something I like, you drink what you like and I'll drink mine. ale. logger. what ever my taste are different than are yours, so don't cut me down liking cream ale. 	Is it safe to post in here? Lager (German: storage) is a type of beer that is fermented and conditioned at low temperatures. Pale lager is the most widely-consumed and commercially available style of beer in the world. Bock, Pilsner, Dortmunder Export and Märzen are all styles of lager. There are also dark lagers, such as Dunkel and Schwarzbier. The term Lager is a cognate of ligrs, Gothic for "place of lying (down)". When I was in Germany and UK I tried so many kinds of beer it wasn't funny. A lot of them were pretty darn good too. One was the October fest beer, that one had a lot of horse power behind it. I never seen so much beer flow in my life at one place. I had three years to try them all out. :))

	I prefer Ale to Lagers. Especially the IPA kinds. :-) I got into IPA more in the last few years, I like it but what some of these guys are coming with home brews makes you think. I like beer of all kinds but I will explore for more. Though I have made wine and tasted straight moon shine but beer has always fascinated me.

You know I tried Guinness for the first time about 2 months ago and to me I didn't care too much for it but I'll try it again later when I get off these med's. And I hope that is darn soon!! When I was in the UK I had a dark beer but that night who knows what it was. :O

	If you like dark beers go to a real ale festival and try some of the special milds. Mild they ain't at 6% ! Where is that held? I was told and don't know if it's true or not that October Fest beer was 8% plus. That stuff sure knocked me silly after a few.

	Grant, Oktoberfests are traditional European festivals, from the Belgian and German beer festivals to the wine festivals. Real Ale festivals are mainly a British thing. 2012 2013 Munich

No I spent 3 years in Germany and vacationed where ever I could. Back in those days a pay check was almost nothing and couldn't go too far.

	No I spent 3 years in Germany and vacationed where ever I could. Back in those days a pay check was almost nothing and couldn't go too far. I was in the Army that is and most of the beer we had was by foot. Every chance I had I would try the locale beer. Even two weeks in the UK was great.
