I'm interested in the Boinc project and need some help. I installed Boinc and I'am running Boinc Manager, over 10hrs now. All the manager shows is Tasks "AstroPulse v6 (ATI GPU) at the top)From SETI@home. In the middle it shows a green progress bar with the numbers 99.099%. At the bottom box it shows Projects SETI@home. It seems it is stuck on 99.099% download. Is there something wrong? I'm new to this and want to contribute 2 computers, one being my server 2011 (cpu 1.8mhz, 4GB ram, 3TB of storage) and my computer (win7, 8GB ram, 2 ATI video cards along with 2.5PB of storage. Please advise, the progress bar has been stuck there(99.099%) for hours.

Best regards;
Glock

There is a significant problem with downloads just now, it is affecting just about everyone. It is not in your control. It is my understanding that those tasks that have failed to be delivered to you will be re-sent at some time in the future.

This is the second time I've downloaded BOINC. I deleted it last time because I didn't understand how to get the seti@home graphs. When I downloaded seti many years ago I automatically got a colorful active graph on my desktop. Now I get information that means nothing to me. I don't know what any of the boinc information means. I'd really like to lend my pc to catching space noise, but it's so frustrating.

A lot of answers about BOINC start at http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Main_Page

Have you selected BOINC as your screen saver? If so, what are the settings on the BOINC screen saver? What other projects are you crunching for?
