Someone posted this on Fb. I don't know if it's real though. We would've heard much more about it...

What I think is more likely is that there have been instances of heavily investigated and documented, happenings and events, that simply cannot be explained by science and physics as we know them today. And yet there is no doubt that the phenomena occurred. Therefore the only two likely explanations are, a secret science breakthrough which is not generally known, or the science/technology that must have been used did not originate on earth.

Most major countries in the world have a fair idea of the level of advancement of each other, either actual or likely, and the sort of experiments being worked on. But when you see a UFO flying at 5000 mph that suddenly does a 90 degree turn, and zooms off at 20,000 mph it stretches credulity that it could have come from earth. Especially when Radar, tracking technology, and credible eye witness reports confirm the sighting. And no, we don't have a hollow earth with flying saucer exit holes at the poles!!!

It is reasonable to assume that if genuine UFO's exist, they will likely be remotely controlled drones rather than manned craft. 99.9% of sightings can be explained away, it is the one in a 1000 that can't that is the worry. I'd bet my bottom dollar that the USA and others have probably reluctantly accepted that there are such things as UFO's with the source yet to be identified. But they know what would happen if they publicly came out and said that. You'd have mass panic all around the world, civil unrest, looting, insurrection, that really would be WWIII.

Can you imagine an actual landing? Can you imagine the result if "they" admitted playing a part in the past in human development? Well, bang goes most of the world religions in a puff of smoke then. We have enough trouble with half the world wanting to kill the other half over religion as it is! But let's be sensible, any ET with the technology to visit us, which logically must involve faster than light speed, would have the intellect to realise all that, and behave accordingly. Unless of course we are talking H.G.Wells War of the Worlds.

I just wish I was 50 years younger, bearing in mind the increase in sightings, there is just a slimmest chance that in that time scale mankind might know the truth, sadly it won't be in my lifetime.

In mine neither I think :( It will be something for our great-great-great grandchildren...

Fireball UFOs Over Ireland: Clever Hoax Or Unexplained Objects? (VIDEO)

That looks exactly like very simple programming of a certain well known video after-effects package. There are similar examples elsewhere on the internet. (The give-away is the motion and the non-matching blur effects. The choreography is also rather stereotyped and contrived...)

Also note for something so audacious: How come noone else noticed at the time?

Compare that with this real UFO that 'buzzed' the UK city of Bath:

A loud bang which sparked a deluge of calls to emergency services across a large part of England...

Mystified residents across the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset and Wiltshire reported hearing a loud boom at about 18:10 BST.

... responding to an emergency call.

A Coventry resident called Gary said: "I thought somebody had thrown a brick at the house."

He added: "When I went out there were quite a few people in the street wondering what it was." ...

... a number of organisations said they were investigating the origin of the sound.

Among them were Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, which received a flood of calls, and the British Geological Survey.

Avon and Somerset Police also said they had received reports of a loud bang in the area.

Some of those who heard it said the sound lasted a few seconds.

Tom Sykes, from Highworth, Wiltshire, said: "I was sat at my desk doing some work and it felt like someone had put up a massive bass speaker at my feet.

"I'm sure that they didn't move up in the air but they felt like they were with the vibration. I thought the window had come in." ...

... "I thought [the sound] was a commercial airliner and then I thought 'no way'," he said.

"We watched for a while and then we saw ... it was flying amazingly slow and we thought it was going to come down.

'Shook the building'

"It was doing really tight, slow circles and it suddenly put on full power and the noise was unbelievable, it was really blasting it out, and then it moved a bit further on and it did another slow turn.

"My impression was that it was struggling to stay up but then [it] put on full power again and you just couldn't hear anything.

"The noise was terrific, I imagine you could hear it for miles."

Another person who reported hearing the boom, who gave his name as Dave, from Warwick, described the sound as "like sitting on a hard shoulder and a big lorry going past".

"It shook the building and the windows popped," he added. ...

Spoiler on: BBC News: ... mysterious bang reports...

All a very silly fake.

All a waste of time and a piece of an old Irish yarn...

'Sirius' Documentary Reveals DNA Test Results On Ata, The '6-Inch Alien'

The mummified remains of what looks like a 6-inch space alien has turned "Sirius" into the most eagerly awaited documentary among UFO enthusiasts.

The findings, however, might come as a disappointment.

'Sirius' Documentary Reveals DNA Test Results On Ata, The '6-Inch Alien'

Dead Alien

More"
"Sirius" focuses on the remains of the small humanoid, nicknamed Ata, that was discovered in Chile's Atacama Desert 10 years ago and has, literally, gone through different hands and ownership since then.

Video also.

Looks more like a sculpture to me...
And then the question is, how did it get here and how could they find a small creature like this?

Sirius Documentary by Dr. Greer, playing at some theaters. Don't bother to go see it. The little alien's age was 6-8 years old. Looked like a fetus to me. It only had 10 ribs. Spoof!!

A320: "Er not quite sure what it was but it definitely er quite large [1255:40] and it's blue and yellow"

UFO's would be unlikely to be blue and yellow, obviously something man made, I guess a balloon.

Right. Because, we all know aliens are color blind.
Who are we to say?

If the radar track 1.3miles away was it then it prob was ,
Your better at maths than me Sarge but I figure appox 80 odd miles per hour to cover that distance in 28 sec's so man made ultra light plane probbaly

Hundreds of millions camera phones sold every year. I venture a guess at 1.5 billion to 2 billion, perhaps more right now being used all over the world and none of them have snapped the shot of a real UFO or the driver of a UFO.

Odss be real bad for all the post here of a UFO being real. Just sayin...

If I found correct information on converting nautical miles, I think you might have made an error converting seconds to hours. I am getting about 192.3 miles per hour. Either way, not a particularly fast aircraft.

(1.3*nautical*miles/((28*seconds)))*(6076*feet/(1*nautical*miles))*(1*miles/(5280*feet))*(60*seconds/minutes)*(60*minutes/hour) = 192.3409091 miles / hour.
