Here's a few more pics of the Shuttle Endeavour and its journey home, more pics can be found Here...

The Shuttle Endeavour pulled across an empty 405 fwy by an off the shelf Toyota Tacoma pickup truck...

This one says it all...

Ok I just snapped a few more, there might be more later of Shuttle Endeavor on Mission 26, as it has reached the Science Center near the LA Colliseum in Los Angeles CA.

The Shuttle Endeavor will be inside this hanger for the next few years, eventually the plan is to put the Shuttle in a launch position, oh and there will be NO entry to go inside the Shuttle itself...

Just returned from KSC. Haven't processed my photos yet but was allowed access to the VAB with Atlantis parked inside. We got within 10 feet of her.

Way cool.

The tour guide made the point that she was still wearing the "dirt" from her last mission.

At a CERN meeting on space related physics research in Geneva Bill Gerstenmeier from NASA spoke of a manned mission to the L2 Lagrange point of the Earth-Moon system being planned. It will require a new heavy lifter.
