My 6 CPU + NVIDIA GPU machine is running 7.0.28 manager (since yesterday). However, it is ONLY downloading and performing GPU tasks both Enhanced 6.09 (cuda23) and Astropulse v6 6.04 (cuda_opend_100). Log says it is also requesting CPU tasks but it is not getting any. It has been uploading and reporting many GPU tasks already

In digging around I noticed that in the application details for this computer,
it shows in "Number of tasks today" that there are NO completed Enhanced 6.09 (cuda23) tasks at all!!!! This seems weird. I also noticed it does show 150 "Number of tasks today" for the Enhanced 6.03 application. That is weird too, since it is not doing any 6.03 tasks its only doing 6.09 cuda(23) tasks.

The same might be happening for Astropulse. It has zero today tasks for the cuda application but a few for the regular application.....

Could this explain why I'm not getting CPU tasks and what can I do about it?

This is a fairly normal situation - BOINC will tend to send WU to your most capable processor until that has a full cache, then will start to fill the other processor's cache.
